COVID19 Protocols

POLICY ON SAFE OPERATION:  VCC COVID-19 HYGIENE PROTOCOLS;

1. Hand Washing:

There shall be compulsory hand washing and/ or use of hand sanitizer at the Gate House by all staff and visitors at all time.

2. Body Temperature:

There shall be compulsory body temperature check at the gate of all in coming staff and visitors using the Thermometer (any staff or visitor whose body temperature is above the normal shall be denied entry into the premises)

3. Students Luggages:

At resumption, there shall be disinfection of incoming students luggages in the hostel common room before the students are checked into the hostel.

4. Personal Hygiene:

Regular and periodical handwashing by staff and students.

5. Non Resident Teachers:

Teachers who are non residents are to observe mandatory handwashing and decontamination checks/ measures before entering the premises

6. Face mask/ Shield:

Teachers are expected to use their facemasks for the period of their lessons.

Students are mandated to use facemasks when they are to ask or respond to questions.

7. Daily routine health checks for students and staff

Students and resident staff are to report to the clinic every morning to see the Matron while non-resident staff are to observe temperature checks at the gate when coming into the premises.

8. ILL/HEALTH:

Students are to promptly report to the Matron/Infirmary any health issue they experience while any staff that feels unwell should not report to work until he is well
