2019/2020 Admission Guide

1. Parents/guardian of prospective students should download the application form through the link on this page or obtain the form directly from the school or other collection centres listed on this page.
2. Contact the school through the phone numbers on our website to schedule a date for an entrance examination. Candidates will be tested in English Language, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
3. Successful candidates at the entrance examination will attend an oral interview accompanied by at least a parent or a guardian.
4. You may now proceed with other registration at the administrative office.

Admission Criteria

Prospective candidates for admission into Basic 7JSS1 must meet the following requirements:

1. They must have attained the age of 10 years by the end of September of the year of admission. This is to ensure that the candidates have the minimum physical maturity and emotional stability to cope with the rigor of academic work and living in a full boarding school.
2. They must have received full primary education up to the final class in their respective primary schools. This is very important to us in ensuring that the candidates have the requisite foundation for a successful transition to Basic 7/JSS1.
3. They must be prepared to be responsible and abide by the school’s rules and regulation as laid out in the students’ code of conduct. We uphold discipline and etiquette.

Entrance Examination Dates

The dates for our main entrance examination is usually published in a national newspaper. The entrance examination for the 2019/2020 session will come up as follows:

•  Saturday, 16th March, 2019
• Saturday, 13th April, 2019

Supplementary and transfer examinations will be scheduled in May, June and July, 2019.
